Victoria/Tasmania Committees and Working Groups

Engagement with ASI members is essential to support the local steel supply chain to be successful in a competitive market.

ASI Victoria Steel Fabrication Group

This group is comprised of general management or owners of steel fabrication businesses located in Victoria.  The purpose of the group is to identify issues of common concern, discuss industry development opportunities and disseminate topical information to members.  The group meets approximately three times per year.  Participation is by invitation.  This group includes participation from the Chair of Structural Steel Fabricators Association of Victoria (SSFV).  Contact ASI Vic/SA/Tas State Manager Sulfianda Soeleiman at sulfiandas@steel.org.au

ASI Victoria Construction/Technical Committee

This committee is comprised of senior building industry personnel involved in engineering, design, education, roll forming and steel fabrication for the Victorian steel supply chain.  The purpose of the committee is to discuss industry based issues and opportunities for the Victorian steel supply chain.   The committee meets on a monthly basis  Participation is by invitation. ASI Victoria Roll Forming Best Practice Group

This group is comprised of senior operations management leadership from roll forming businesses located in Victoria.  The purpose of the group is to share best practice in the management of roll forming operations, via presentation and open discussion on topics of common interest.  The group meets approximately four times per year.  Participation is by invitation.  Contact ASI Vic/SA/Tas State Manager Sulfianda Soeleiman at sulfiandas@steel.org.au
