What we do

What we do

The Australian Steel Institute (ASI) is the nation's peak body representing the entire Australian steel supply chain from the manufacturing mills right through to end users in building and construction, heavy engineering and manufacturing. The ASI provides marketing and technical leadership to promote Australian-made steel as the preferred material to building, construction and manufacturing industries and policy advocacy to government.

Compliance

The ASI has a range of solutions and tools to help our stakeholders ensure cost-effective, compliant outcomes, and structures that are resilient and achieve the intended design life. Compliance solutions include Steelwork Compliance Australia (SCA), Environmental Sustainability Charter (ESC), and ShedSafe.
