Company Sustainability Initiative - Large Business (≥ 75FTE)
A company-specific, steel related initiative that has resulted in positive sustainable impact
Must be an Australian company (hold an ABN) that provides steel related services or products including research and development in steel related solutions.
Initiatives can be related to improving sustainability performance of steel manufacturing operations, or any other company operation or service.
Examples of initiatives; energy use reduction, waste reduction, modern slavery management, EPD development, logistics and transport initiatives, community engagement activities, data driven solutions for sustainable outcomes including but not limited to traceability systems, BIM modelling, carbon accounting tools etc.
Any initiative exercised under SSA certification is recognised.
Entries must be submitted by Tuesday 31 October 2023.

Sustainability impact (70 points): How has the initiative directly resulted in positive sustainability impact, including environmental, social and/or economic outcomes, either for the applying company or other stakeholders within the steel industry, supply chain or built environment? Provide metrics as evidence.
Leadership and/or innovation (30 points): How has the initiative demonstrated leadership and/or innovation for driving sustainable impact or outcomes within the steel industry, supply chain or built environment, and how have relevant stakeholders been engaged with this initiative? Provide evidence
