worldsteel Environmental case study - wind energy

This World Steel Association (worldsteel) case study uses a life cycle assessment (LCA) approach to measure the potential greenhouse gas impacts from all stages of manufacture, product use and end-of-life, demonstrating the reduction of CO2 emissions through the use of high-performance steels. This case study deals with the Horns Rev offshore wind farm in Denmark which has 80 2MW wind turbines. Website at www.worldsteel.org
