Ahrens were commissioned to design and construct a warehouse of 3,750sqm for Lafarge; canopies of 1,180sqm and office of 250sqm plus external pavements and landscaping. The need for internal columns was to achieve an open plan warehouse as requested by the client allowing the client to use forklifts throughout the entire warehouse. The spacious open plan design was also followed through to the office to allow for a large clear area where the client could display their products.
