The Environmental Sustainability Charter (ESC) is the Australian Steel Institute’s (ASI) solution for environmentally aware steelwork fabrication and processing companies. It was established to drive meaningful improvement in the environmental footprint of its certified members. This year some excellent initiatives and projects have been reported during the audit session with great outcomes. An outstanding Charter member was commended by the auditor as follows: “They live and breathe continuous improvement across the business and are very focussed on delivering environmental enhancements to the organisation.”
