The connections included in this current Tubular Design Guide are generically associated with the usual types of bolted bracing arrangements in building applications and comprise slotted SSHS end connection, both single cleats and forked cleats; welded tee SSHS end connection, both single cleats and forked cleats; and flattened end CHS connections. Forked (or twin) cleat plates are treated as a variation of the single cleat plate configuration.
