Australian Structural Steel was established in 1995.
We are lead by Owner and Director Paul Giles, and as a Company we stand by our slogan; Building Strength in the Steel Construction Industry! We accomplish this through a highly skilled team of technical, production, delivery and client service staff.
Our head office and workshop are in the Sydney Metro location, giving us prime access to numerous locations around the active construction regions within the City. Australian Structural Steel is a respected member of industry associations such as the Master Builders Association.
Main technical sectors include detailed Estimating, Inhouse Drafting, Procurement and Quality Management. Our employee profile consists of educated and experienced drafts people. This team complements our project estimation and procurement ability. Using Tekla modelling software our team is able to create a customized 3D electronic model of any project; providing our clients with a tailored experience to visualize their project outcome prior to fabrication and installation. Working closely with architects, engineers and project managers our team ensures correct information is obtained to produce the desired design outcomes for our clients. Upon receiving client approval, fabrication and installation commences.
The workshop is equipped with CNC automated machinery. We have a Beam Line and an Angle Master. These machines allow accurate and efficient cutting/drilling/punching of all Beam, SHS, CHS Angle & Plate Sections. The factory team consists of highly skilled personnel which include experienced fabricators and welders. Our team capabilities range from heavy structural to complex and intricate project designs. Our trade qualified installation team ensures efficient and accurate installation. The erection process follows SWMS and stringent health and safety requirements for all clients and project sizes. Australian Structural Steel works with a variety of clients ranging from Tier 1 (commercial & industrial) through to smaller unit & house builders.
