Mandatory criteria for Category 5: People – Rising Star in Steel Sustainability 

  • Nominated person must be 25yrs of age or under
  • Nominated person must be employed in the Australian steel supply chain or associated industries

Evaluation criteria for Category 5: People – Rising Star in Steel Sustainability

Judges will assess entrants against the following criteria and provide a holistic score out of 100.

  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in steel sustainability, clearly demonstrated in at least two or more of the following areas: knowledge of core sustainability principles; sustainability in design; the circular economy in the built environment; managing out waste; carbon accounting, measurement and reporting; global best practices.
  • Demonstrated keen ambition for sustainability in the steel industry
  • Have future aspirational plans for steel sustainability

  • Nominated person must be 26yrs of age or over
  • Nominated person must be employed in the Australian steel supply chain or associated industries

Evaluation criteria for Category 6: People – Leadership in Steel Sustainability Innovation

Judges will assess entrants against the following criteria and provide a holistic score out of 100

  • Showcase a project where they have had influence in driving positive sustainability outcomes
  • Evidence of driving innovation to transform a market sector in sustainability
