Webforce shows its creative spirit

Webforge Locker is one of the first ports of call for companies seeking high quality metal flooring and safety barrier solutions.

Typical of the company’s work is its barrier solution for 1640 l/m of walkways running from Coalcliff to Stanwell Park parallel to the iconic Grand Pacific Drive in Wollongong, NSW.

Being a coastal walkway the pathway meandered up and around steep terrain including a 340-metre elevated footbridge.

Monowills Link Velocity Balustrade – Full Barrier was chosen by Webforge Locker as it met the design requirements for shared paths, able to provide the edge protection required, and was capable of achieving both standard C3 loadings along with higher grade C1 loadings where the sheer cliff edges were present.

The company’s less mainstream projects include working with First Nations artist Judy Watson on her five-storey art installation Bloodlines weaving string and water for Upper House in Brisbane.

The installation utilises Pic Perf® metal panels from Webforge Locker to capture the essence of Indigenous history and tradition.

The project went on to win The Urban Developer Awards for Development of the Year - High Density Residential. The company has branches throughout Australia.
