Online webinar begins Wednesday 27 March 2024
This webinar addresses the critical role of workshop inspection in ensuring the structural integrity of structural steelwork. With structural steelwork forming the backbone of modern infrastructure, the reliability and safety of these components are of paramount importance. The webinar explores the various facets of workshop inspection, emphasizing its significance in guaranteeing compliance with industry standards, minimizing defects, and ultimately enhancing the overall performance of steel structures.
The non-compliance and failure of structural steelwork on projects highlights the need for careful attention to detail throughout the design, fabrication, and maintenance process. By prioritizing safety and taking the necessary steps to ensure that steel structures are built to last, we can help prevent future incidents and protect those who rely on these structures.
Presented by ASI National Technical Development Manager Dr Peter Key, this webinar aims to provide participants with a core understanding of best practices in the workshop inspection of structural steelwork. The webinar also touches on contemporary issues, such as steel quality and compliance, which must be managed in today’s construction environment.
