The identification, development, and management of National Construction Code (NCC) performance-based solutions including those involving structural steel.
This webcast seminar consisting of on-demand pre-recorded presentations will provide particular guidance for engineers involved in the design of building projects that contain performance-based building solutions. The seminar will cover topics including a background to performance-based codes, how these codes differ to prescriptive codes and how to recognise when a performance-based solution is being proposed.
The seminar will also discuss the role of Australian Standards in the design process, the assessment method rules that must be followed and what evidence must be provided as part of the performance-based building solution.
This seminar is a must for building industry professionals who are involved in the design, specification and certification of all types of building projects to better understand the rules and their obligations under the performance- based NCC.
