480 Queen Street - Case study evening - Brisbane (Fully subscribed, registration is closed)

480 Queen Street showcases innovation in steel design for faster, safer construction.

This building is targeted to be the only premium grade, 6-star Green Star rated tower of the three new office towers currently under development in Brisbane. It is the first steel building of this type in Brisbane. It also utilises a steel system that has never been used in Brisbane before on a large multistorey building. 480 Queen Street comprises approximately 5,000 tonnes of steel made up of approximately 2,500 tonnes of universal sections, 500 tonnes of fabricated beams, 1,000 tonnes of tubular columns and 1,000 tonnes of steel decking.
