Using and activating thermal mass in buildings

When a building type has been selected, there may be the option to use the building’s thermal mass to help regulate temperature. Natural ventilation and activating a building’s thermal mass can be used to drive reduced running costs. This paper consists of two short articles, one based on an article in New Steel Construction, vol. 18, no. 6, June 2010, and one by Nigel Howard, Edge Environment.
