The risk to the community of non-compliant structural steelwork and construction products has featured prominently in the media. High profile examples such as the Grenfell Towers tragedy, tend to overshadow the reality that non-compliance is an endemic problem and given the wrong circumstances, can lead to injury or death in seemingly innocuous situations.
