The connections included in the current Tubular Design Guide are generically associated with various configurations of fully welded connections between a chord member and typically one or more brace members and comprise mitred knee connections and T, Y and X connections.
This publication supersedes in part AISC 'Design of structural steel hollow section connections, volume 1: Design models' by A.A..Syam and B.G. Chapman, 1996.
