The Steel Awards highlight the high standard of design and execution achievable with the versatility of steel, aesthetics and the industry’s capabilities and efficiencies.

The ASI Steel Design Awards in NSW & ACT are offered every two years. Award categories are Architectural Steel Design, Structural Engineering Steel Design, Metal Building Product Design, Multi-level Steel Building Design Award (New category) and Young Fabricator Award (New category).

The Steel Awards highlight the high standard of design and execution achievable with the versatility of steel, aesthetics and the industry’s capabilities and efficiencies. The Awards recognise, publicise and reward the prime achievements of the NSW & ACT steel industry.

Eligibility

The ASI Steel Design Awards are open to structures/innovations fabricated predominately in Australia with steel supplied by an ASI distributor or manufacturer and completed between 1st January 2003 to 31st December 2005 and located in NSW or ACT.

Judging Panel

The panel of judges will be made up of an architect, structural engineer, steel detailer, steel fabricator, steel distributor or manufacturer and the ASI National Manager – Engineering & Construction. The judges may nominate an entry for a Judges Special Award from any award category. The judging panel will consider the following key criteria for each award.
