Recognising innovative applications for iron and steel, the T.C. Graham Prize is awarded to the winners of the Association for Iron & Steel Technology’s (AIST) annual design competition. The winning entry/team will receive a US$20,000 cash prize. The purpose of the contest is to encourage, generate and potentially incubate ideas that may lead to the development of new markets for steel.

The Australian Steel Institute encourages members with an interesting new application for steel to check the AIST website to see if they meet the eligibility criteria. The closing date for entries is 15th July 2020.

The T.C. Graham Prize 2019 winner was ASI member Inquik Bridging Systems with their entry titled ‘Steel Semi-Modular Solution to Bridge Building’.
