Corrosion Prevention of Steel Products.
Online webinar begins Wednesday 24 August 2022
The myriad of protective coatings applied to steel products either in the manufacturing phase or in the fabrication phase, can be challenging for designers and specifiers to fully understand in order to produce the most cost-effective structures. Evidence can be found of the negative consequences of both over specifying and under specifying coatings.
This webinar contains a series of on-demand pre-recorded presentations (video, audio and slides) which will explain the basics of corrosion prevention for a number of popular steel products and assist in the choice of the most effective solutions to minimize the risk of failure.
After watching each presentation, you will have a general understanding of the approach used to prevent corrosion for that product application. You will also be provided with an overview of the commercially available products in each case, and the basic principles used to design the respective coating systems.
The total duration of the seminar is approximately 2 hours plus a Q&A session of up to 45 minutes. This will be 2 CPD hours.
