ASI Bookshop

The ASI technical bookshop sells an extensive range of publications on the use of steel in construction. Many of these are the Institute’s own publications. Most titles are according to Limit States Design with the key documents being the Design Capacity Tables for Structural Steel, volumes 1 and 2 for open and hollow sections.

Please note there is an Errata sheet to the Design Capacity Tables for Structural Steel, volume 1: Open sections, 4th edition below. This refers to Part 13 of the book.

Following on from the publication of Structural Steel Connections Series 1, Simple Connections – Open Sections in December 2007, the Structural Steel Connections Series 2 Rigid Connections – Open sections was released in April 2009. The two series now represent the most comprehensive set of publications ever issued by the ASI and complete the updating of the Design of Structural Connections published in 1994 and known affectionately as “The Green Book”. These two series were authored by Tim Hogan with the help of Scott Munter for the first series and Nick van der Kreek for the second.

The Corrigenda for the Structural Steel Connections Series 1 and 2 can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.
